Melano Cocktail is a powerful combination of ingredients recommended for hyperpigmented skin caused by melasma. Tranexamic acid is capable of inhibiting hyperpigmentation by inhibiting various enzymatic pathways. On the one hand it competes with Tyrosine, having more affinity than Tyrosine for the enzyme Tyrosinase. In this way, the melanin formation pathway is effectively blocked. On the other hand, it blocks the formation of plasmin, a protein that induces the synthesis of the hormone that activates melanogenesis (Alpha-melano-stimulant) and the release of arachidonic acid that would end up activating melanogenesis.

What are the effects of this product?

Active ingredient - Tranexamic Acid 1.8% possesses depigmentation capacity. Inhibits tyrosinase enzyme regulating the formation of melanin pigment.
